Empower Scholars Nicaragua is a fundraising program dedicated to raising money for students in Nicaragua to go to school. Unum Mundum has partnered with Casa Xalteva, a nonprofit organization in Nicaragua that works on helping local kids go to school. For the past 28 years, Casa Xalteva has successfully nurtured four generations of students, guiding them toward developing strong principles, pursuing professional careers, and even establishing small businesses. However, recent political and economic issues within the Nicaragua government have made it harder for Casa Xalteva to fund its scholarship program.
Our mission is clear – 100% of the funds we raise directly contribute to the education of these children. From covering tuition fees to providing uniforms, school supplies, and more, we leave no stone unturned in ensuring a comprehensive support system. This year, our focus is on sending 5 high school students and 10 elementary school students to pursue their dreams through education.
