At our last meeting, we came up with our basic idea and made a rough outline of our presentation to the board. A few days later, we had a Zoom meeting where we finalized our presentation. We cleaned up our slides, assigned talking points, and rehearsed our presentation.
Today was only our second in-person meeting, and we had a lot to accomplish. When everyone arrived the board sat down in front of us and we started presenting. We told them our idea, discussed spending and budget, and explained our fundraising and logistical plans.
However, it was still a very new idea and the board had a lot of suggestions. The board told us that we should really work on the slides as a sort of marketing tactic, in order to convince people to donate to us or help us out with our projects.

After our meeting, we started working on our website. We set it up, then had a quick dinner. After that, we brainstormed ideas for our website, assigned roles, and then started working on our basic outline for the website.
Overall, we had a very productive meeting today and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for our brand new non-profit.
